1. Who We Are

Focus Garden is developed and published by Universal Cores, an independent developer. This Privacy Policy applies to the Focus Garden Android application (the "App") and this website.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

Focus Garden collects absolutely no personal information. The following is a non-exhaustive list of things we do not collect, track, or process:

• Name, email address, phone number, or any contact information
• Location data — the app never requests location permissions
• Device identifiers, advertising IDs, or hardware fingerprints
• Usage analytics, session data, or behavioral tracking
• Crash reports or diagnostic telemetry sent to any server
• Payment or financial information — the app is free with no in-app purchases
• Microphone, camera, or media library access
• Contacts, calendar, or any other device data

3. Local Storage — What Stays on Your Device

Focus Garden saves game progress exclusively to your device's local storage using the standard Android application sandbox. This data includes:

• Timer settings and session counters
• Garden layout, inventory, and item upgrades
• XP, level, coin balance, streaks, and prestige level
• Achievements, daily stats history, and Codex discoveries
• User preferences: language, character, background, sound settings

This data is stored as a JSON file in the app's private storage directory on your device. It is never transmitted to any server, never read by us, and is automatically deleted if you uninstall the app. You can also erase it at any time using the "Reset Progress" option inside the app.

4. No Internet Connection Required

Focus Garden does not require an internet connection to function and makes no network requests during normal operation. The app does not communicate with any external server, API, analytics platform, or third-party service.

The only exception is the optional local notification permission, which is handled entirely by the Android operating system and does not involve any data leaving your device.

5. Android Permissions

Focus Garden requests only the permissions strictly necessary for its features. Here is a complete and transparent list:

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS — Used to send a local alert when a focus session ends. No data is sent anywhere. This permission is optional and can be denied.
• VIBRATE — Used for optional haptic feedback when a session completes. No data is involved.

No other permissions are requested. The app does not access your contacts, camera, microphone, storage, location, or any other sensitive system resource.

6. Third-Party Services

The Focus Garden app does not integrate any third-party SDKs, advertising networks, analytics services, or social login providers. There are no embedded trackers of any kind.

This website (focusgarden.app or equivalent) is a static HTML page hosted on a standard web server. The website uses Google Fonts, which may load font files from Google's servers and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. No other third-party scripts are loaded by this website.

7. Children's Privacy

Because Focus Garden collects no personal information from anyone, there are no special concerns regarding children's data. The app is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any information from children or any other age group.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if the nature of the app changes — for example, if a feature is added that involves network communication. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

Because no personal data is collected, changes to this policy will never affect data that was previously gathered — because no data has ever been gathered.

9. Your Rights

Under regulations such as the GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), and similar laws, you have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you.

Since Focus Garden stores no personal data on any server and collects no information that could identify you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on our end. All data the app saves lives exclusively on your device and is entirely within your control.

To delete all app data, simply uninstall Focus Garden from your device, or use the "Reset Progress" option found in the app's Settings screen.
